I am quite interested in Events Booking (EB) and I have been reading your documentation, using the demo (which seems to be badly configured, I cannot see the shopping cart or the front end management) and the forum, but I still have some questions that I hope you can help me clarify:
1) Does EB rely on Mootools? If yes, do you have a deadline to remove this dependency?
2) In shopping cart mode, how does the registration work? Let's say Event A has name, email and custom field A for registration, and Event B has name, email and custom field B. After adding Event A and Event B in the shopping cart and proceed to check out, does the user need to complete name and email two times? Will he need to complete custom field A and custom field B?
3) If I have event A in US dollars, and event B in Euros, can both events be added to the shopping cart? How would this work?
4)If I configure events in different currencies, are the payment plugins able to dynamically adjust to the event's currency and charge accordingly? For example, if event A is in US dollars and event B is in Euros and both events use the Paypal payment plugin. Is the Paypal plugin able to charge customer of Event A in US dollars and customer of event B in Euros? Does this work in ALL the payment plugins?
5) Can events be added to the shopping cart from the category view? After adding an event to the shopping cart, is the customer redirected to the shopping cart automatically? Can the automatic redirection be disabled? Where does the shopping cart summary appears? Is there a module?
6) I can see the QR code can be included in either the thank you message, email message and the invoice. Can the layout of any of these documents be adjusted on a per event basis?
7) If the user buys multiple events via the shopping cart, how many thank you messages, email messages and invoices does he get? One per event or just one for the total purchase?
8) Is it possible to add a reference (maybe custom field?) to all the event registration entries bought under the same shopping cart transaction so they can be easily identified as bought together in a single transaction/order?
