Payfast Update Error - by: Jacs

Hi guys

PayFast recently updated their servers/programs. For a time it did not work with Joomla, but this has been resolved on their side.

Since they've updated their systems, the PayFast success return stopped working. According to them, the error is in the plugin.

Attached is the payment returning as "failure" all though the payment went through; as well as the printscreen from PayFast.

Payfast Answer:
"The payment notification (Instant Transaction Notification – ITN) communicates with the notify_url, which is a fieldset on the form sent from the checkout page, allowing for the exchange of data between the two web servers after a successful transaction. However, your website is not sending a notify URL.
PayFast does not maintain the plugin Joomla with extensions EShop by JoomDonation.
Therefore we will advise you to contact the developer for the module for them to assist if the will add the notify URL to the module."

Currently the plugin does not work on any website. What should we change/add to the plugin to get it working again?

Good day!
Now the site is filled with real estate by 70%, 12800 positions. Each object has, on average, 30 photos in three sizes (large, medium and small), and they occupy about 65GB on disk. But because of so many images, the “images” folder simply navigating to “Content>Media”( site.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_media ) causes a 500 error. This makes it very difficult to work with regular articles on the site.
I suggest adding to the page "Configuration>Image" a selection field - "default folders". And also, with a new installation of the component, create the folder "site/image-osproperty", and it will be the default folder.

When i use a menu-link type Categroy - Timline Layout i don't have a Page Heading anymore.
The settings ar correct but there si no Title at all.

Hello,
I have an event that was created as having only individual registration but the client then wanted to allow people to bring a guest.

I can change the Registration Type and all future (group) registrations will have a screen to input the names etc.

However, people are contacting the client to ask for their registration to be updated.
It would be good if there was a (back-end only) function to change/add the new registrations.

Tickets have been issued and without a change, they can only be scanned once.
This will mean that checked-in figures will not correspond to actual attendees.
- This could be a security issue at some events.

I can see that you can save an event as an ical file and then import it into my calendar app.

But it is also possible to create a complete category as an iCal file, so that I can add an entire category to my calendar

Hi

Does the property display timelines or type of display (i.e. standard or featured) change automatically or are linked to, the payment made by the agent/owner as documented in your Payment Plugin and Manage Transaction sections?

Also, if a subscription plan is purchased using Membership Pro extension Integration, do the properties uploaded by the agent automatically stay live till the end of the purchased subscription?

Further to this, can you briefly explain the difference in functionality and objective achieved by using the in-built Payment Plugin vis-à-vis Membership Pro?

Hi,

Please add the ability for members to pay by more than one method on a plan. For example, I have a plan and one member can decide to make monthly payments to the plan, another member can pay to the same plan in full, another member can make quarterly payments to the same plan. Benefits are easier reporting per plan.

Currently, I have to create multiple plans each having their own method of payments. This makes reporting quite the challenge when you're really interested in only having a single plan.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

i found out that the meta-description just contains of the product name and does not include the meta-description.

In components \ com_eshop \ helpers \ helper.php, for now, i changed the rule from:

I know this disappears at the next update. So can you please add this in a new version of eShop? It would be beter for the SEO of products.

Can you let me know if it is possible for you to undertake an integration of OS Services Booking with OS Property so that OS Services Booking can be used to schedule property visits by prospective tenants/buyers (customers) by looking up availability of the agen/owner (service provider)? If so can you also let me know the cost of undertaking this task?

I have only 1 plan but it will have 3 payment options

Monthly, 6 Monthly or 12 Monthly.

So I have set up 3 plans

1M, 6M, 12M

each of these has a setup fee (trial price) of XX

But when I configure the Upgrade option from 1M to 6M it adds the setup fee again and I do not want this.

I have a feeling I´m not setting things up correctly so any pointers helpful.

I wish i could get Earlybird and Members discount described in Event Properties list/rows, just as with the late fee.

I imagine something like this.

- "Earlybird discount" to event Properties fields just as "Late Fee". Placed before Late fee (maybe option Y/N "make discount disappear after early bird date expired")
- "Members discount" to event description fields just as "Late Fee". Show >> Placed over Earlybird discount eg.
Members discount 25 %/$ for [joomla user group A, joomla user group C, joomla user group X]

+ the possibility to turn this on/off in settings.

- .....
- Members discount
- Earlybird discount
- Late Fee
......

An credits to Tuan and the team for having the earlybird and late fee features, because they are really unique and very useful especially together with membership pro. I hope more of you will support implementing to visualize these great discount features to the customers in the event properties. I think it is crucial to get a discount working as the intended selling point, to show to the customer that these discounts are available.

I discussed this with Tuan via support, and if enough request this feature He will implement it.

Membership PRO plans in memberships discount, registration access and access - by: StreetSportService

It would be REALLY great if it would be possible in members discount, registration access and (event) access to choose (in settings) wether these features should grant discount based on "joomla user groups" OR "Membership PRO subscriptions".

This would be a more tight integration between these to great extensions.

Another reason for this is that this would be more intuitive for front-end user who create event, because they dont know (and cant see) the "joomla user groups" setup.

If Members discount was featured in event properties and with the applicable Membership Pro Subscribtion plans listed with link to plan, then people who wish to obtain membership discount could click through to the plan and sign up.

I have a scenario where club have a profile page, and with that memberships plans and events. I would be great to be able to have club events with discounts based on their subscription plans. But same goes for a sites subscribtions. I/You want to encourage to sign-up for the subscription to get the event discount.

I discussed this with Tuan via support, and if enough request this feature He will implement it.

Hello,

I have downloaded the latest osmembership with subscription and tried to install with latest & fresh Joomla.

Joomla seems to work fine.

Error I am getting:

Table 'osmembership_configs' doesn't exist

I am hosting my website on a windows server 2016 + Plesk.
I have installed Joomla manual, not using Plesk.

Example: For our summer camp registration, we would like to be able to trigger a 5% discount if you register for at least 4 camps/classes.

We have 61 summer camps/classes being offered, so I'd love to be able to setup a discount and limit its use to a category/categories.

Hello. In OS we have:
Agent, Broker, Builder, Landlord, Realtor and Seller
Apart, we have clients such as:
Engeneers, architects, remodelers, workers in roofing, siding, gutters, home additions, degigners, etc.
In this case, only the agent is licensed to work as such. This means that those clients are not supossed to appear there BUT it will be nice to the the option to add new users according to their activity and filter the adds accordingly.
In my country we have unfair competition. Many people do this to the detriment of us - a matter of security and order. Question: if someone wants to publish something without being entitled, how do I find out? In short, if that is not solved, we will be losing the opportunity to cover more businesses in the real estate business.
